Hideo Kojima announced at the Tokyo Game Show 2010 that fans should expect the Nintendo 3DS version of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater to debut on 2011. The game will still retain its title, and as of this writing, the 3DS veriosn is not much different from the original MGS title. We're not complaining though. It's a good step forward to getting more MGS franchise on Nintendo.

Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is one of the most surprising announcement on the recently concluded E3 2010. The project is so secret that some of the Kojima Productions staff didn't even know it was being developed.



The Snake Eater 3D demo video above is non-playable but its shows some gameplay and cinematics on the Nintendo 3DS. As far as we know, Snake Eater 3D will be some sort of a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 with added elements such as co-op and of course, 3D. Also, Hideo Kojima hinted that the final game may look better than the demo itself.
