The upcoming Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition for the Nintendo 3DS is taking "Street Fighter" quite literally with its new exclusive features. This latest video trailer shows how it works.



"Figure Collecting" mode allows players to automatically battle nearby 3DS owners using collected figurines. Winner of the match will get the opponent's figurine and add it to their own collection. "Arcade Standby" mode allows other players to challenge you to a battle while you're playing, and vice versa. So with these two new features expect a lot of street brawling (figuratively speaking of course) once SSF IV 3D finally comes out.

If Capcom's previous announcement of Resident Evil: Revelations and Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition for the Nintendo 3DS riled you up, then prepare to be crushed.

A Q&A with an investor recently revealed that the game company will NOT be releasing any of those games this fiscal year. Development is underway though, the publisher assured, but the release will be a little late. No further reason was given as to why.

We're sure a little waiting won't hurt Capcom's sales but it would've been better if they can have a title out on the Nintendo 3DS' launch.
